Part III: Stalked by the Shadow Scout

3.1 While the two aliens hungrily eat inside, the two-dimensional Shadow Scout waits outside. Ever patient, the scout’s job is to track down time-travelers and send them back. You see, unknown to the aliens, when traveling through space, they also traveled through time.

3.2 Finished eating, Bridget and Gwendolyn try to leave their strange surroundings. Coming from a planet whose primates are extinct, they’ve little experience with constructed habitats, only ruins. They rush toward the outside, only to be blocked by an invisible force—a sliding glass window.

3.3 A clumsy, thunderous sound shakes the ground on which they stand. Gwendolyn looks up and sees an animal of myth, legend, and scary stories—a living, breathing primate!
